The love for music, woodcraft and collaborating with artists is what led Pierre to become a Piano Tuner Technician.
His journey started in France in 2006 at I.T.E.M.M (European Technical Institute of Music). First learning the art of piano restoration with master piano rebuilder S. Laigre then focusing on grand piano preparation (regulation, tuning, voicing) and concert services for music festivals and concert halls. After 4 years apprenticeship he obtained his diploma and moved to Australia.
In Perth he has worked 3 years for Peter Hudson's Piano World, passed the APTTA (Australian Piano Tuner Technician Association) examination and became a full member. In 2013 Pierre established his own business, enthusiastic to offer high standard piano services.
Since then, he works for piano stores, piano teachers, pianists and institutions such as Snadens pianos, Zenith music, UWA, Kennedy Baptist College, St Georges College, Piano Easy, Royal Caribbean Cruises, City of Stirling, Perth, Fremantle, Perth Jazz Society...
Recently Pierre successfully completed a technical training at the FAZIOLI piano factory in Italy and passed the Master Technician certificate for Kawai in Japan.
